Q. Is the 'emulsion method' of the cream mist an exclusive technology of AMOREPACIFIC?
more viewA. We have patented and developed our own unique technology to stabilize high concentrations of ceramides in a mist-type formulation.
[Registered Patent 10-2451838]: Water-in-oil type cosmetic composition stabilized with high content of internal oil -
Q. What is the order of use when incorporating a cream mist into the daily skincare routine?
more viewA. 1) If you experience severe tightness immediately after cleansing, keep the cream mist in the bathroom and spray it right after washing your face, then follow with hydro essence -> cream or lotion.
2) If your skin is very dry, after cleansing, apply hydro essence -> cream or lotion -> finish with the cream mist (use it frequently whenever you feel dry). -
Q. Are the ingredients in the Atobarrier365 Cream also included in the mist?
more viewA. While the formulation is not identical to that of the cream, the mist does contain some of the key active ingredients found in the cream. Therefore, if you find the cream alone insufficient for moisturizing or experience dryness after using the cream, you can spray the mist frequently to achieve a similar level of hydration as using the cream.

Q. Are there any Atobarrier365 products that contain animal-derived ingredients?
more viewA. We avoid using animal-derived ingredients and each product is labeled with specific "FREE" claims indicating the absence of animal-derived ingredients. While we have not obtained vegan certification from an external organization, the products do not contain animal-derived ingredients and have not been tested on animals.

Q. I have dry skin and my skin feels irritated. Is it okay to use AESTURA products?
more viewA. The Atobarrier365 line offers moisturizing solutions specifically designed for sensitive and dry skin. Generally, we recommend using Atobarrier365 products, which contain skin lipid ingredients such as ceramides that help strengthen the skin barrier, especially for skin with a damaged barrier. However, since we cannot assess the precise condition of your irritated skin, we suggest testing the product on a small area before full application.

Q. What is the function of the skin barrier?
more viewA. The skin barrier essentially functions as a 'wall.' Just like a wall separates and protects the interior from harmful external substances, the skin barrier separates and protects the inside of the skin from external threats. When the skin barrier is compromised, it becomes like a damaged wall, allowing harmful elements and irritants to into the skin while also resulting in the loss of internal moisture. This can lead to dryness and various other skin issues. Therefore, maintaining a strong skin barrier is the foundation of all skincare.
The skin barrier is composed of cells and lipids. The cells act like bricks, while the lipids act like cement. If the cement is not properly applied, the bricks can collapse. Similarly, in the skin barrier, lipids play a crucial role. These lipids consist of ceramides, cholesterol, and fatty acids, forming a layered lamellar structure. The Atobarrier365 line strengthens the skin barrier by using patented capsules that replicate the structure of skin lipids with these three key components, thereby reinforcing the skin barrier.
